Domori Criollo collection is made from cocoa nibs grown on the Hacienda San José in Venezuela. This bar is made from Ocumare 77, a rare sub-clone of Criollo cocoa bins variety recovered by Domori. Recognizable by the increased roughness of the cacao pod, Ocumare is very rare because the plant has often empty bean inside the fruit. Flavor notes of apricot jam, cream and dried fruit. This chocolate offers an excellent smoothness and persistence taste with low acidity and bitterness.
